Overview:
The Prairie State Achievement Examination is the regular state assessment used for public school accountability for all grade 11 students, unless they are exempt. This Webinar will focus on the administration of the assessment and is intended for previously-trained PSAE testing staff. It does not replace the required face-to-face training for newly-appointed 2010 PSAE testing staff, although new staff are welcome to attend the Webinar prior to the face-to-face training.
Please note: the PowerPoint linked below is the only material you should need for this PSAE Webinar training, since the session is intended for previously-trained PSAE testing staff. Links to many other PSAE documents referenced during the Webinar, including the manuals, are available under the “Information for PSAE Test Supervisors / Accommodations Coordinators” heading near the bottom of the PSAE web page. All 2010 PSAE Test Supervisors, Backup Test Supervisors, and Test Accommodations Coordinators will receive hard copies of materials at the face-to-face training or in the mail for those previously-trained staff who choose not to attend a face-to-face training. Face-to-face trainings are by invitation only to current PSAE testing staff.
The Illinois State Board of Education has scheduled a webinar to discuss the following topics:
- Overview of Testing
- Test Administration Policies
- Pre-Test
- Test Day
- Post-Test
- Accommodations
- Questions
- PowerPoint Presentation: PowerPoint format PDF format
