Tech Plan Information

The 2008 Technology Integration Plan window of approval is closed for Public School Districts in Illinois. Watch this site for news and information regarding the launch of the online template for writing Technology Plans for 2009 approval.

Does your district or educational entity have a technology plan that expires on June 30, 2009? Are you filing for E-Rate? Then you should be preparing to file a Form 470 for E-Rate services beginning July 1, 2009 as well as gathering and analyzing the data and information necessary to complete a Basic Technology Plan (also known as the draft plan) before October 1, 2008.

Districts having tech plans that do not expire in 2009 should be completing annual reviews now! It is very important that districts ensure that items and activities listed in the budget sections of their currently approved Tech Plan align with items to be requested on Form 470.
