bullet CeRTS -- The Illinois State Board of Education's Online Teacher Information System (OTIS) & Certificate Renewal Tracking System (CeRTS) were merged together to form the new Educator Certification System (ECS) in September 2006. ECS is a web-based system that allows educators, district administrators, and the public access to certification data from ISBE's Teacher Certification Information System (TCIS). **NOTE** CeRTS will remain open until July 2012 on a read-only basis for reference purposes.
