PSAE Testing Information

For 2007-08, the initial test dates are April 23-24, 2008, with make up test dates of May 7-8, 2008. This results in PSAE scores being available for the Assessment Correction Period in August, when most schools are either closed or may just be opening for the new school year. It also delays any AYP calculations and production of the school report cards until early fall. For 2008/09, we are considering moving the test administration dates to March 10-11, 2009. Make-up dates would be March 24-25, 2009. Not only would this assist with getting report cards out earlier, but it would also allow us more opportunity to take advantage of Michigan’s activities in relation to translating the ACT.
