ISAT & IAA Test Coordinators: Pearson’s Assessment Network is now available for 2013-2014 pre-test activities
—These activities are required if your district, Chicago school, ROE/ISC, or special education private facility will be administering the spring 2014 ISAT and/or IAA.
—These activities must be completed no later than 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013.
- Check your district, Chicago school, ROE/ISC, or special education private facility’s Profile information to ensure all information is accurate. Information contained in the ISAT and IAA Test Coordinator’s Profile lists to whom and where test materials will be shipped, and to whom all test material related information will be communicated. It is important that you provide a valid e-mail address in ALL profiles. You should also list/enter a secondary contact to the profile page if another staff member will be contacting Pearson regarding ISAT and or IAA testing.
- ISAT and IAA Test Coordinators should check enrollment numbers listed for 2013-2014 STUDENT INFORMATION/SIS to ensure enrollment numbers are accurate. The enrollment numbers listed reflect what Home School districts uploaded to SIS as of Friday, October 18, 2013. If these enrollment numbers are inaccurate, do not contact Pearson or ISBE. Instead contact the student’s Home School district, as staff at the Home School is responsible for correcting inaccurate information in SIS.
- ISAT Test Coordinators are required to enter the number of students being assessed with special-format test forms [i.e. Reader Script, Form LM, Braille, Large-Print, or audio test version]. It is important that this information be entered accurately. Please enter this information before 11:59 p.m., Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Pearson’s additional order system (beginning February 3, 2014), is not designed to process initial special-format test orders.
- Additionally, if your school district wishes to request a modification to your 2014 two-week test window, your request must be submitted through Pearson’s Assessment Network on or before 11:59 p.m., December 1, 2013.
For complete instructions and details about performing these activities, refer to the 2014 ISAT & IAA Reference Guide. You received this document along with your 2013-2014 Assessment Network User ID and Password during the week of October 21, 2013.
