The message below is a re-broadcast of information previously
sent out by the Illinois State Board of Education.
This note carries important information impacting administrators
serving English Language Learners and the Student Information
System (SIS).
Please take time to review the critical details below.
Student Information System (SIS) 2008 Assessment
Process Update Telephone Conferences
The Illinois State Board of Education has scheduled
two (2) telephone conference calls to discuss the following
topics:
- Reducing Duplicate State IDs
- Removal of the IMAGE test
- Ordering IAA Materials
- Pre-ID Label Due Dates
- Collection of ELL Data
- Districts Next Steps
The ISBE SIS and User Community are invited to participate
in one or more of these sessions.
We encourage local superintendents, principals, and
all of those involved in submitting data to the Student
Information System to participate in one or more of these
conference calls.
A PowerPoint presentation and other materials describing
topics to be addressed will be available by noon Friday,
December 7, 2007, on the Student Information System website.
Go to the ISBE website at www.isbe.net.
Once ISBE home page has been accessed, go to the menu
on the left-hand side and select "Student Inform.
System."
The conference lines will open 30 minutes prior to
the conference for registration.
