Dear Educators Serving English Language Learning:

This message is from the Division of English Language Learning.

State Superintendent Christopher Koch is seeking five individuals to serve on the Illinois Advisory Council on Bilingual Education ( ILCS 5/14C-13).  Members would serve a three year term of office and be expected to attend four meetings in the Chicago area between September 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009.

If you are interested in serving on the Illinois Advisory Council on Bilingual Education please email a cover letter and resume to Robin M. Lisboa at rlisboa@isbe.net by the close of business on May 23, 2008. 

Resumes will be reviewed and successful candidates will be notified by July 1, 2008.
