of the Illinois State Board of Education, will share
information about the State testing program for ELLs.
Topics include:
- Updates and changes made to the IMAGE Test for 2007
- Recommendations for improving literacy skills and
test performance
- Complete information on the ACCESS Test, including
English language proficiency testing requirements
both from state and federal perspectives: suggestions
for the administration of the test; and using the
scores to make placement and exit decisions.
- Use of the screener for identification of ELLs
- Guidance on access to the online training materials
and quizzes required to administer the ACCESS test
