Immigrant Education Programs
This program provides funds to State educational agencies
for support to local school districts that experience large increases
in their student enrollment due to immigration. These grants
are to be used to provide high-quality instruction to immigrant
children and youth and to help those children and youth make the
transition into American society and meet the same challenging State
performance standards expected of all children and youth.
