Mr. Dean Clark is the president of Graphic Chemical & Ink Company where he also serves as Chairman of the Board. His broad knowledge of school finance and the business of education resulted in his appointment as a member of the Education Funding Advisory Board (EFAB) on which he served from June of 2000 through December of 2002. Mr. Clark's background in education policy includes serving on the Glen Ellyn District 41 School Board. He has also been involved with a number of community organizations. He received his bachelor's degree from Maryville College and is a graduate of the Defense Language Institute East Coast in Washington D.C. He serves on the Board Finance & Audit and Governmental Relations Committees. Dean Clark was appointed to the State Board of Education in January 2003 by Governor Ryan and his term will expire in January 2009. Mr. Clark has also serves as a member of the NASBE Governmental Affairs Committee and the NASBE 2005 Financial Literacy Study Group. |
