Fees
All fees must be in the form of a money order made payable
to the “State Superintendent of Education”. The
mandatory fees are as follows:
- Certificate Applications: $30
- Duplicate Certificate: $8
- Endorsement Applications: $30
- Registration
- Standard, Administrative Certificate, or School Service
Personnel Certificate: $25*
- Initial Certificate: $20*
*Registration fees are calculated
at $5 per year of a certificate’s
validity. However, with the exception of substitute certificates, one
registration fee
will cover all certificates held. Applicants with multiple certificates
or who otherwise have existing fees on file may not
be required to pay the whole registration amount.
Please note: This information applies only
to applicants who are registered in the City of Chicago.

in the City of Chicago (ROE 15), contact your regional
office of education for information regarding fees and
methods of payment.
