Student Advisory Council
2012-13 SAC
Any public school student interested in serving on the Illinois State Board of Education’s Student Advisory Council must complete an application and essay. Eligible applicants must submit all paperwork required and be available for four meetings.
Applications are posted here in April of each year. Applications are typically due on or around May 31st annually.

SAC met during State Board of Education's November meetings in Springfield
Anna Bittman of New Trier High School and Michael Byerley of Lemont High School will serve as co-chairs for the 2006-2007 Student Advisory Council (SAC) to the Illinois State Board of Education. The two seniors were elected by the 2006-2007 members at the SAC's November meeting held in Springfield.
