School Plan Reviews and Inspections Task Force

The task force is required to perform the following duties:

• Review documents required under ISBE adopted rules for documentation of plan reviews and inspections
• Make recommendations regarding ISFM proposed rules for defining a "qualified fire official"
• Recommend training and accrediation of individuals performing reviews or inspections required under the School Code, including regional superintendents and others under their authority (such as consultants, municipalities, and fire protection districts)
• Issue a report of findings to the Governor and General Assembly by January 1, 2006
