In 2003, ISBE established a regional system of support to provide technical assistance to districts and schools in academic status.

National High School Center

National center serves as the central source of information and expertise on high school improvement for the Regional Comprehensive Centers (RCCs).

What Works Clearinghouse

U.S. Department of Education, Institute of Education Services that features educational resources demonstrating what works in education.

Tool to assist with the development of successful parent involvement strategies and activities for the school improvement plan.

Surveys of Enacted Curriculum (SEC)

The SEC survey is an on-line tool that provides a graphic description of what is taught, including how and when the concepts are taught.  Resources and Tools for Assistance on the SEC, K-12 content area information and tools for teachers, administrators and coordinators are available
