Illinois ASPIRE Demonstration/Data Collection
Sites
Within each Illinois ASPIRE region, school demonstration/data
collection sites have been established to facilitate school
and student level data collection and evaluation. The regional
Illinois ASPIRE Centers provide training and technical assistance
services to these sites, as described below.
The school demonstration/data collection sites receive comprehensive
training to support infrastructure development and capacity
building at the local level. This includes needs assessment,
research strategies, team building, and RtI content. In addition,
Illinois ASPIRE training coordinators provide specific technical
assistance on site to assist in implementation, as well as
resources to enhance parent participation.
Through a Request for Proposals (RFP) process, each Illinois
ASPIRE Center selected school demonstration/data collection
sites within their regions. In accordance with the RFP, each
site has made district- and school-level administrative,
financial and personnel commitments and agreed to meet parent
involvement and data collection and reporting requirements.
