Please join us on Friday, December 17, 2010, from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. when a Registered Dietitian with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) will present this webinar for Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) participants, including staff from child care centers, before and after school hours programs, Head Start, and emergency shelters. Discover simple, quick, and cost-efficient ways to prepare and serve healthy meals to children. Learn tips for smart shopping in hard times and innovative ways to encourage young children to eat fruits and vegetables, whole grains and lower fat milk. Find out how to get new free nutrition education resources for children, and to market your center's good nutrition to parents. These materials include an exciting new garden-themed educational kit and parent nutrition education handouts from USDA.

When registering we would really like you to provide your CACFP agreement number (of RCDT number) and DCFS license number. After the webinar an acknowledgement of attendance will be sent to each computer logged onto the webinar.
