To the Class of 2020,

Our hearts go out to you.

We know that milestones are so much more meaningful when you're surrounded by all of the people who helped you achieve them -- your teachers, principals, friends, and family.
We understand how hard you've worked and how much you were anticipating walking across that stage. Your friends and families would be cheering you on and you would be shaking hands -- or at least bumping elbows -- with your principals and teachers.
The COVID-19 pandemic has given you, your teachers, your families, and your friends more than your fair share of tragedy and loss. But it has also revealed your deep capacity for patience, resilience, and courage. All these lessons equip you for success.
So the next time life throws you a curveball, you won't blink. You will be creative in your solutions because you've already shown that you were able to weather even this unprecedented storm.
As you head into the next chapter of life, hold on to this lesson: We are all connected.
Congratulations, Class of 2020!
