Public school districts must enter the name and contact information of their appointed Youth in Care/Foster Care Liaison. This information may be used to contact the District Youth in Care Liaison to assist with best interest determination, confirmation of school of origin, and transportation planning. Students that are Youth in Care under the guardianship of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) must be immediately enrolled and fully participating in school. The following list represents all districts who have reported their appointed Youth in Care/Foster Care liaison on their Consolidated District Plan application.
