This game can be created for any grade level. I had each group of
students decide on a math concept they wanted to use for the cards. A
group in my mathlicious class created the cards for the one
attached. You can use any math level or concept to have students create
game cards. Since this game celebrates Illinois, my students also
researched places in Illinois they never knew about. They decided to put
these places on their game board. I also had my students create the
directions they wanted to use for the game. After playing one round,
they decided to add more cards like "translate to the nearest prime
number." It was fun x fun to watch them alter the game after they
played the first time.
