ISBE serves nearly a quarter million students identified as English Learners. Ensuring that the agency’s programs, services, activities, events, and communications are accessible and usable to all persons who primarily speak a language other than English is essential to engaging families and communities as partners in the equitable education of Illinois’ students. Therefore, interpretation (oral by telephone or in-person) as well as translation (written) is available free of charge.

For more information about these services, to request assistance, or suggest informational resources you would like to see on our webpage please call Diana Torres at 312-814-5818 or email dtorres@isbe.net.
