This letter is to notify your district and Title I schools, if not already completed, that you must develop a written districtwide parental involvement policy, local school parental involvement policy, and complete school-parent compacts. [See 20 U.S.C. Section 1118 et seq. (ESEA)]

The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) requires notification to schools and districts before the beginning of school with the final determination for Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP).
