The Illinois State Board of Education, in partnership with WIDA, sponsors the professional development sessions featured on this webpage. Registration for all WIDA workshops is now available through PD+, Illinois' interactive professional development system that serves as a "one-stop shop" for educators to search and register for professional development opportunities. Educators can access PD+ by logging in to their ELIS account. Please note, educators must register for WIDA workshops on both PD+ and through WIDA.
All sessions are funded by public resources and are therefore open exclusively to current Illinois public educators at no cost. Educators will earn professional development hours upon completing any workshop listed below. Webinars and self-paced e-workshops will issue a certificate of completion to participants at the conclusion of each course. Participants must download the certificate and email a copy to multilingual@isbe.net.
You must register for the self-paced WIDA courses through both PD+ and WIDA. PD+ automatically tracks the completion of professional development hours, eliminating the need for manual entry into ELIS.
