Public Act 100- 0772 provides that any educator registering their Educator License with Stipulations endorsed for Paraprofessional (ELS-PARA) on or after July 1, 2018, shall pay license registration fees in the amount of $5 per year rather than $10. The Educator Licensure Information System (ELIS) was configured October 17, 2018, for this change. Any educator who registered an ELS-PARA between July 1, 2018, and October 16, 2018, will be issued a refund of overpaid fees. At this time, no additional action is necessary to receive this refund.
Please know that if the card used during the payment process is expired, the
W9 Formwill be needed for you to receive the refund. We will contact educators individually, if necessary.
Refunds will be processed to the credit card used during the application process no later than March 1, 2019.
