The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program is part of the U.S. government response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of P-EBT is to provide food assistance to families with students who would have received free or reduced lunch while attending school but are not receiving these meals in school due to COVID-19 restrictions. Sponsors can direct questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
ATTENTION PARENTS, GUARDIANS, AND RECIPIENTS: Please contact the Illinois Department of Human Services at (833) 621-0737 or use the

ATTENTION ELIGIBLE P-EBT SCHOOL STAFF: The Illinois Department of Human Services P-EBT team may reach out to eligible P-EBT schools to ensure that all eligible students receive the correct amount of P-EBT benefits through the end of the Public Health Emergency, when P-EBT expired. Data cleanup is ongoing for School Year 2021-22 and School Year 2022-23. We encourage eligible schools to work directly with the DHS P-EBT team to ensure accurate program benefits for all eligible students. Questions may be directed to the DHS P-EBT team directly at email@example.com. If school staff have P-EBT questions for the Illinois State Board of Education, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
