USDA Foods Show 2017  

The Illinois State Board of Education Nutrition Department hosts the USDA Foods Show to give school nutrition professionals the opportunity to attend educational sessions and meet processors to explore available products. The annual event is free.

ISBE’s Nutrition Department is responsible for the administration of the federally funded Food Distribution Program, providing approximately $60,000,000 worth of USDA Foods to Illinois schools annually.

ISBE’s USDA Foods Show Set for Dec. 8, 2022, in Springfield

WHAT: The theme for this year’s USDA Foods Show is “Finding a Bountiful Balance.” The Food Distribution Program offers three spending options – USDA Foods, DOD Fresh, and Diversion to Processors.

WHERE: Wyndham Springfield City Centre (700 E. Adams St. Springfield, IL 62701).

WHEN: Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022

  • Check-In and On-Site Registration: 10-10:30 a.m.
  • Training: 10:30 a.m. to Noon
  • Food Show: Noon to 2 p.m.
