A school district may establish a program to recognize high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in one or more language in addition to English, by designating on a student’s transcript and high school diploma his or her receipt of the State Seal of Biliteracy, provided that all the conditions of this Section are met.

2018-19 Seal of Biliteracy Awards Report

The final awards report for the 2018-19 State Seal of Biliteracy will be collected on ISBE's Student Information System (SIS) and not via a spreadsheet, as in years past. More information will be shared soon. The report will be due September 1, 2019.​
