• List of Approved Language Proficiency Assessments
• This is a list of standardized assessments for foreign languages and English that ISBE has approved. To qualify for the Seal or Commendation by using any assessment on this list, a student must meet the minimum qualifying score that ISBE accepts. Other languages and assessments that are not in this list are still viable for this program. Please contact biliteracy@isbe.net if an assessment or language is not listed. For more information on this, please see the “FAQ for the Seal of Biliteracy” located on this webpage under the Resource dropdown bar.
