Every two years, according to Section 27A-12 of Illinois Charter School Law (105 ILCS 5/27A-12), the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) releases a report detailing the state of the charter school sector. Each Biennial report covers the two school years preceding the release of the report.  This page contains the Biennial Reports, as well as the blank forms authorizers must complete as a part of the due diligence for each Report. This page also contains the blank survey that is optional for charter school to complete and submit for consideration in the Biennial Report and the Charter Schools Count, which provides details for each charter school operating during a given school year.
