All individuals interested in obtaining a Professional Illinois First Division School Bus Driver Permit in Illinois must attend and pass an Initial Professional Illinois First Division School Bus Driver Permit Training class. Annually all Professional Illinois First Division School Bus Driver Permit in Illinois holding a valid first division permit, must attend a First Division Refresher Class. The Initial and Refresher Classes are administered by the Regional Offices of Education (ROE) in accordance with the Illinois State Board of Education guidelines.
