The Illinois State Board of Education can request waivers and opt into available waivers issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help program operators run successful programs and meet Child Nutrition Programs requirements. Watch for waiver updates and public notices. Sponsors can request available waivers in the Web-Based Illinois Nutrition System (WINS).
